The Wakefield Memorial Building, one of Wakefield's most important assets, has received the critical help it has so long awaited. After years of neglect, Mr. Marvin Suomi, a graduate of Wakefield High School, has initiated the lengthy and costly restoration process. Once restored, the building will house city offices, the city library, a theater, a swimming pool, a banquet hall, a chamber of commerce room, and incubator space for new industry. |
